Reclaim Love -The 'Her'story (History)

When the Power of Love overcomes the love of power then the world will know peace.

A bright young girl listens to a wise older man talking about our collective consciousness and how it is affected by a particular number of people focusing on one thing at one time. She learns from him that this is called a critical mass of people. He talks of how this knowledge is used by many people including politicians, military, corporations and media to manipulate and install a sense of fear, racism, hatred, greed and lack in people.

In that very moment something stirred in this young poetess, Venus CúMara. There and then she vowed to herself to find a way to use the same strategy to antidote this power trip to get a critical mass of people to use this knowledge for the good of All, to end wars and to bring lasting peace, love and harmony back to her people and her planet.

“All my experiments seemed to be failing until I realised I just needed to be patient. Of course I wanted peace on Earth now, who doesn’t? But I could only get results if I stayed committed to one experiment and if I made it a long-term goal. Not too long though. Reclaim Love is that experiment. I really want to see it work. I could be wrong again, but I think (and of course, I hope) that this will be the year where we have that critical mass of people caring enough to focus on shifting our consciousness for the good of All.”

Reclaim Love is now in its 9th year. It has been growing bigger and stronger and more beautiful as it spreads throughout the world. My friends and I often cry at the beauty we see in the footage and photos coming in from many of the different Reclaim Love gatherings around the world.

The circle is at 3.30pm everywhere in the world... the time differences don’t match up as easily as they used to when it was just in Europe. As a result the circle has become an amazing wave of Love that travels across the Earth, starting the night before and ending the next night.

The gatherings are always free. Everything is free at them. Everyone is equally welcome. I have seen with my own eyes an older, very wealthy lady holding hands with a young homeless man in the circle. All descriptions of people attend, unite and delight in sharing with each other their favourite thing - love. Being in a public space it makes it a great and sometimes life changing surprise for people who were simply passing by but who could not leave.

I get so excited, driven, burnt out, humbled, inspired and moved to tears by the gift of what started as this beautiful idea.

It would mean so much if you would make a gathering happen where you live or where you will be. If you’re in a hospital, or on a bus, or a home for our elders, please just reach out to the person next to you and repeat the words, imagine what a world in peace and happiness would look like, and plant your Seeds of Love in this world.

Thank you.

I Love You All.
